Updated June 9, 2020: Thank you to everyone who participated in our Virtual Scavenger Hunt and congratulations to our six winners (we just couldn't settle on five winners since four of the top six highest scores were tied). If you still want to complete the Scavenger Hunt just for fun, and would like the answers, feel free to email us.
Intro: How does this work, you ask? It's quite simple! Scour the web for the answers to the following 45 questions, using this portal and the social media channels/websites of our partners (or any other means that works for you, we won't tell!) Take an afternoon in the sunshine to visit a handful of local businesses and snap a quick photograph of yourself and/or your family outside the business! Then, upload your answers and photographs using the form below for a chance to win one of five prizes! Answers must be submitted by June 5 at 4 pm, and the winners will be contacted via email or phone on June 8 by 4 pm. However, the most important step is that you have fun (and maybe learn a little more about some of your local not-for-profits as an added bonus!)
Prizes: Five winners (with all or the most correct answers) will receive a $100 gift card to ONE of the following businesses:
Rules: 1. The contest is open to all ages. 2. Only 1 submission per person (phone number and email will be used to identify unique submissions). 3. All family members related to the Isolate and Create team are invited to participate, but ineligible to win. 4. Winners will be selected from the five highest scores. The highest scorer will be contacted and offered the first choice of gift card. The second highest scorer will be contact and able to choose next, and so on. 5. In the event of a tie, winners will be drawn at random and contacted accordingly.
Privacy Statement: Personal information collected in the submission process will not be shared or used to contact contest participants unless they are one of the top five results. The Greater Vernon Museum and Archives will record the submissions describing participants' experiences during the pandemic for historical purposes only.
Ready, Set, Go!
